STAFF at Northumberland’s NHS foundation trust have rated it as the best in the country.
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust staff have rated the organisation as the best acute and community trust and best acute hospital trust in the country in the NHS staff survey for equality, diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing and morale.
The survey, completed by all NHS trusts in England, focused on 11 themes and provides a detailed insight into how staff feel about culture, their wellbeing, levels of engagement and motivation, equality, diversity and inclusion, safety and quality of care.
Sir James Mackey, chief executive at the trust, said: “These results reflect the commitment of the organisation to make Northumbria the best place to work in the NHS in the country.”
