THE administration period for Dickinsons Furnishers has been extended while further investigations take place.
A report compiled by joint administrators Steven Ross and Allan Kelly, from accountancy firm RSM, stated that following a court application in October 2019, the period of administration had been extended until January 2, 2022.
Dickinsons, which occupied a building on Beaumont Street as well as premises in Alnwick and Carlisle, went into administration in 2017.
The administrators requested the extension to enable them to complete the collection of book debts and complete investigations into the acts and dealings of the company and its directors.
