A MAN has been jailed for five years after admitting two charges of robbery.
William Baxter (21) of Chains Drive, Corbridge, was sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court on January 27.
He had admitted two charges of robbery at an earlier hearing in October.
The charges relate to an incident at an address in Langley Gardens, Haydon Bridge on August 10 last year.
Baxter was handed a four-and-a-half-year sentence for one charge and a five-year sentence for the other, with the sentences to run concurrently.
