A MOTORIST has appeared in court after admitting to being twice the legal drink drive limit.
At South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court last Thursday, Gary Lawrence Robinson (36), of Hadrians Rise, Haltwhistle, was given a 12-month community order and banned from driving for 24 months for driving with 92 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath on the town’s B6322 on November 22. The legal limit is 35mg.
He was fined £100, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85.
