SEVEN fire crews from the North-East battled a fire at a farm in Hexhamshire on Wednesday and Thursday last week.
The fire service said they were called to a large scale fire in farm buildings in the Lord’s Lot area, near Whitley Chapel, at 5.40pm.
The fire covered an area of one thousand square metres, but there were no reports of injuries to people or livestock.
Crews from County Durham and Darlington, and Tyne and Wear were called to assist Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service’s firefighters.
