A FILM written by a Northumberland author and screenwriter will be screened to a local audience.
Mark Burnell, who was born in the county but grew up in Brazil, is a well-known author of thrilling novels, and he has contributed to turning his The Rhythm Section book to screen.
The film, from the producers of the James Bond series, stars Jude Law, Sterling K. Brown and Blake Lively.
Other books in the thriller series from Mark include Chameleon, Gemini and The Third Woman.
The film will be shown at the Forum Cinema, in Hexham, from February 7 to 13.
