A MAN has denied causing up to £2,000 worth of damage at Hexham Railway Station.
Jamie Mullarkey (34), of Alderley Way, Cramlington, was charged with three counts of criminal damage relating to August 10 last year.
He was accused of causing £1,500 worth of damage to the windows at the Platform Bar just days before it was due to open and the railway station's waiting room, as well as £500 worth of damage to a vehicle in the station's car park.
At South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court last Thursday, he pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
He was released on unconditional bail and will reappear at court for a trial on April 21.
