FIRST Wylam Scout group were top of the tree at a recent county-wide climbing competition.
The event, hosted by Northumberland County Scouts at Newcastle Climbing Centre, saw 60 Cubs from 10 groups compete.
This week Wylam’s Cub Scout leader, Mark Berry, found that one of the Cub climbing groups from Wylam received the highest average score for their section at the county event.
The team was made up of Noah MacDonald, Noah Thompson, Benjamin Conaty, William Wood and Fred Carr.
