A TYNEDALE man has died after being hit by a vehicle while in Las Vegas.
Matthew Hickie (30), of Otterburn, died of injuries sustained after the collision with a car on the Las Vegas Strip just before 1am on Sunday, January 12.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed details of the incident to media outlet FOX5 Las Vegas, and the Clark County Nevada Coroner identified Mr Hickie as the deceased.
A fund-raising page has raised nearly £4,000 for a memorial in his name.
