A STRETCH of the A69 was closed on Thursday evening after a three-vehicle collision.
Northumbria Police were called to a report of an accident involving a lorry and two cars on the westbound carriageway of the A69 between Haltwhistle and Greenhead shortly before 10pm.
Nobody was seriosly injured during the incident.
The stretch of road was closed temporarily for a clear-up operation, with traffic diverted through Greenhead and on to the Military Road.
