DISADVANTAGED children across the North-East benefited from the generosity of a local housebuilder.
Barratt Developments North East, which runs the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, partnered with North-East charity Changing Live over the Christmas period and raised £9,000 and collected over 150 boxes of charitable donations over a six-week period.
Donation drop-off stations were set up at every Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes development in the North-East. Alice Fisher, fund-raising and events officer at Changing Lives, said: “We’re so grateful for each and every donation that we received.
“We are amazed at how much Barratt Developments has managed to raise in such a short space of time, as well as the hundreds of boxes of gifts that they collected, and we’d like to thank everyone who got involved.”
