A BUS replacement service will be in operation for rail users along a section of the Carlisle to Newcastle line this weekend.
Users of Northern Rail have been urged to check before the travel as Network Rail carry out improvements on the Tyne Valley line, which passes through Brampton, Haltwhistle and Hexham today (Saturday, January 11), tomorrow and next weekend (January 18 and 19).
Passengers will be able to travel between Carlisle and Hexham, and will need to take a replacement bus to continue the rest of the journey via the Metrocentre in Gateshead to Newcastle.
