A MAN in his 30s has died after a two-vehicle collision on Monday evening.

Durham Police are appealing for witnesses after the fatal crash on the A689 near Killhope shortly before 9pm.

The two vehicles involved in the incident were a quad bike and a vehicle.

A man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and have been released under investigation.

Durham Police are asking for anyone with any information or dash cam footage which could help the investigation to get in touch on 101, quoting incident 447 of January 6.
