Here's a reminder of the latest court cases.

A PRUDHOE man has been charged with harassment and assault.

The case of Stephen William Davison (41) of Castle Lea, was heard at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He was accused of harassing a woman between December 17 and 24, which he had pleaded not guilty to.

He was also accused of assaulting a man on December 23, which he also denied.

He will remain in custody until a hearing at North Tyneside Magistrates’ court on January 7, where an application for bail will be made.

A MAN will appear in court accused of robbery.

Stanley Wood (19) of Biverfield Road in Prudhoe is accused of robbing a bicycle worth £500 from a man in Carlisle in August last year.

At an earlier court hearing he had been granted bail, but after breaking his bail conditions he was arrested on December 29 and appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Monday, where his bail was revoked.

No plea has been entered and he will remain in custody until a hearing at Carlisle Crown Court on February 24.
