TYNEDALE’S popular music festival has announced its first wave of acts for next year’s event.

Corbridge Festival will run from Friday, July 3 to Saturday, July 4 next year, at Tynedale Rugby Club.

The first wave of acts have now been announced, with the headline acts announced so far as Welsh rock band Feeder to headline the Friday and British pop band Shed Seven on the Saturday.

Soul II Soul, the group remembered for hits including Back To Life and Keep On Movin will also perform on the Saturday.

Acts will appear across three stages and others which have been announced to perform across the two days are Beatles tribute band The Bootleg Beatles; former X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan; German Eurodance group Snap!; Teeside-based band Cattle & Cane; soul and funk band Smoove & Turrell; Queen tribute band We Are Champion; Zeb and Newcastle’s rising star Cortney Dixon.

More acts are yet to be announced, and tickets are already on sale on the festival’s website.

The family-friendly festival was launched in 2011 and has brought some household names to the district over the years.

This year’s festival was hugely popular with music lovers and saw thousands of people head through the gates.

It followed a fallow year in 2018.
