Police urge vigilance after farms targeted
THIEVES have targeted two farms in Tynedale.
Between 10pm on Tuesday, December 10 and 6am the following day, offenders smashed the lock of a storage shed at a farm close to Yarridge Road in Hexham, and stole red diesel.
Police were also called to a report of an attempted quad bike theft in the C200 road/Forest Drive area of Kielder. It happened at 2.30am on December 12.
