Strong winds expected across Tynedale on Tuesday
STRONG winds are expected for parts of Tynedale on Tuesday.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for 50-60 mph winds inland and 60-70 mph over higher ground between 5am and 5pm.
The strongest winds will occur ahead of an intense band of rain that is expected to move eastwards during the day.
Delays to road and rail transport are likely.
