HEAVY rainfall is predicted for parts of the Tyne Valley throughout Wednesday.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain across the North-East from 4pm on Wednesday until 6am on Thursday.
While the warning covers most of the region, areas to the west of Tynedale, including Haltwhistle, Haydon Bridge and Allendale, are set to miss the rainfall, as are communities in the Upper North Tyne and Redesdale.
