A GROUP formed to aim to make Hexham a real living wage town will attend a special screening of Ken Loach's new film, Sorry We Missed You.
The Forum Cinema in Hexham will screen the film, which is set in Newcastle, on Tuesday night, followed by a question and answer session with cast member Ross Brewster.
The film focuses on a family fighting an uphill struggle against debt, reliant on work in the gig economy.
Real Living Wage Hexham has been formed to aim to make Hexham a town where all employers pay a real living wage - a rate of £9.30 per hour - known as a real living wage town.
Members of the group will be in attendance on the night and have a presence in the foyer where they will be providing information and answering any questions on the real living wage.
They will also show a pre-film video made by Hexham TV which will explain the campaign and feature interviews with local people.
The film starts at 7.30pm.
