A MEMBER hospital staff knitted hundreds of poppies to create a stunning tribute in time for Remembrance Day.
Activities Coordinator at Hexham General Hospital, Melanie Jewitt, has knitted over 250 poppies which were placed in a display in front of the hospital.
She said: "I am very proud of the 250 poppies. I never dreamed they would get this much interest but each one is a tribute to the soldiers who have fought in all wars."
