A COURT case involving a man who failed to comply with requirements of the sex offenders register has been adjourned.

Shaun Hutchinson (50) of Berwick Lane, Ovingham, was due to be sentenced at North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

He had given an indicated guilty plea to one charge of failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offenders register after failing to complete an annual registration.

Hutchinson is due to be sentenced on November 21.

A MAN will face trial after pleading not guilty to breaching a court order.

Steffen Rendering (27) of Plashetts, Wark, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 6.

He pleaded not guilty to one charge of breaching a non-molestation order, after allegedly sending an prohibited email on September 9, contrary to the court order.

Rendering will stand trial at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court on February 10.

A MAN will go on trial at crown court after pleading not guilty to a charge of theft.

Jack Clark (22) of Scales Crescent, Prudhoe, appeared at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

He faced one charge of theft in dwelling other than an automatic machine or meter.

It is alleged that Clark stole £6,500 from an address in Bedlington.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge, and will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on December 2 for trial.
