FOUR people have been arrested after a theft of scrap metal from a farm in Sparty Lea.
Officers attended the scene after the theft was reported at around 3.30pm on Sunday and worked with local farmers and gamekeepers to locate four males and one female who were later arrested.
Three vehicles were also uplifted from the scene and will be searched for evidence. Vehicles uplifted include a Black Peugeot, a Silver Suzuki Vitara and a White Ford Transit.
Officers are continuing their investigations and anyone with information should call 101 and quote reference 730 031119.
