Police patrolling rural areas
POLICE are appealing for information after a spate of burglaries in rural areas.
On Saturday night, four quadbikes and a trailer were stolen from a farm near Riding Mill.
Officers have since located one of the stolen quad bikes on the A68, close to the Healey junction.
Inquiries are ongoing and police are asking the public to look out for a Honda Fourtrack 500cc, Honda TRX420FMB 420cc and Honda 250cc. A Nugent single axle trailer was also stolen from the property.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote 329 27/10/19.
On Friday, police received a report of a stolen Green Yamaha Quad bike from a property in Whittonstall.
