A FOOTBALL fan has been found not guilty of failing to comply with a banning order.
Reece Gillon (27), of Stanley Road, Prudhoe, was acquitted of the charge as he appeared for trial at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court last Thursday.
He was accused of failing to surrender his passport to Forth Banks Police Station in Newcastle, between June 5 and 9 under terms of a banning order made under the Football Spectators Act by Newcastle Crown Court in 2013.
