A NORTH-EAST law firm has expanded its regulatory work into the financial services market, supported by the appointment of two new specialists.
Sintons becomes one of only a handful of companies in the north to deal in the specialist field, and the expansion will be overseen by the law firm’s newly appointed head of regulatory, Neil Smart, who joins after a lengthy career as a barrister.
He will be joined by associate Sheila Ramshaw, who similarly has extensive experience in financial regulatory and compliance work.
Mr Smart said: “We will continue to develop Sintons’ outstanding reputation for acting in the more traditional regulatory areas such as healthcare, cybersecurity, HSE and CQC matters.
“Mine and Sheila’s experience in the field will add even greater depth to what we have already here at Sintons.”
