A WALK exploring the the landscape and history of Hadrian’s Wall will set off this weekend.
The walk, named Northumberland Rocks, will begin with a presentation on the geological history of the area and how it has influenced the landscape.
Then walkers will see the rocks themselves and understand the geological processes that have shaped the terrain.
It will cover five miles, beginning at the Sill car park at 10.30am on Sunday, October 13.
The walk will be led by a national park volunteer who is also a geologist, supported by the Campaign to Protect Rural England.
