A HEXHAM woman will help draw attention to the struggles in developing African countries with a charity film screening.
Ish Fawcett spent six months last year volunteering for community transformation project, the Krizavac project, in Malawi.
She wants to spread the word about the project, and the problems communities there are facing, and has organised a film screening at the Forum Cinema in Hexham.
Tsotsi, which is set in a South African township, will be played on October 15 at 7.30pm.
Ish said: "I will give a chat beforehand. I will be talking about the work of this charity and the importance of supporting community development in a poor developing country.
"I have asked people to bring a bar of soap, and I will explain why on the night."
