A SITE manager working on new homes near Ponteland has won one of the industry’s top awards.

Mark Sinclair, who works for Bellway Homes, was one of 10 winners in the North-East to secure a National House Building Council (NHBC) Seal of Excellence award.

Mark, who is working on Bellway’s Medburn Manor development near Ponteland, paid tribute to the team behind the development.

He said: “I feel very grateful to have won a Seal of Excellence Award for my work at Medburn Manor.

“The award win really is a testament to the efforts of the whole team on-site, who have put in lots of hard work to provide quality customer service along with well-designed, sought-after new homes.”

Judging for the award began a year before the first winners were announced.

Each site manager is assessed across 44 areas of site management.

Mark was put into the hat for the seal of excellence award after he won an NHBC Pride in the Job quality award for the same development just ten days earlier.

Mark added: “Winning an NHBC Pride in the Job award is a great accomplishment in this industry, so I feel very proud to have won one.

“It really is a showcase of the efforts put in by the whole team onsite, who have worked exceptionally hard to provide well-designed and reliable homes to the community.”

Neill Findlay, head of construction (south) for Bellway North East, said: “Mark’s Pride in the Job award win means that our buyers can certainly trust in the quality of our building work on a local level. We are very proud of Mark and his team.”
