A PROMINENT Tyne Valley building is set to become a new base for an expanding North-East law firm.
Gosforth-based Savage Silk has submitted a planning application to turn the vacant Hexham Tourist Information Centre building in the town’s Wentworth car park into a legal practice.
Satpal Pandal, a partner at the firm, has identified the building as the ideal location for a move into Tynedale.
The tourist information centre closed in January 2018 when the service was transferred to a town centre location – within the town’s library at the Queen’s Hall, on Beaumont Street.
