A man breached a restraining order - just four days after it was put in place.
Danny Attard, 27, of John Street, Carlisle, appeared at the city’s magistrates’ court where he admitted two charges of breaching the order.
It had been made by the magistrates' court on September 2.
However, the court heard that on September 6 and 7, Attard attended the home address of a woman whom he was banned from contacting.
The restraining order was amended, preventing him from direct or indirect contact with the woman except to collect personal belongings while accompanied by a police officer in uniform.
The order will remain in force until any further order is made.
Attard must also complete 40 hours of unpaid work and pay £90 to victim services and £85 costs.
