POLICE are investigating an alleged hit and run in Hexham.
Shortly before 7pm on Friday, August 23, police received a report of a two-vehicle collision near the Bridge End roundabout in the direction of Oakwood Bank.
A silver Audi was reported to have been in collision with a small black car.
Shortly after, it is alleged that the female occupant of the black car momentarily alighted her vehicle before she left the scene without exchanging details or reporting the collision.
The occupant of the Audi was shaken but uninjured.
An investigation is ongoing into the collision and tracing those involved. Police have now asked anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
