CYCLING fever returned to the district as world class riders passed through the area's picturesque roads.
The OVO Energy Tour of Britain made a big impression as it included the North-East on its travels this week, passing through the villages of Snods Edge, Shotleyfield and Edmundbyers on Tuesday morning.
The day's racing was dominated by Dutch competitor Mathieu van der Poel.
