DANCERS from a Prudhoe group had the opportunity of a lifetime as they performed in front of thousands of visitors at Disneyland.

The 25 dancers from Elaine Pygall School of Dancing in Prudhoe aged between eight and 21 travelled to Disneyland Paris where they completed a 20-minute show in the Videopolis which included five songs from the popular musical, The Greatest Showman.

They then took part in the pre-parade where they danced the length of Main Street in front of thousands of people.

The chance came after passing two separate auditions, and the dancers also had time to explore during their three day visit.

Elaine Lilburn, who runs the school, said: β€œIt was the most emotional three days. Some of them said it was the best three days of their lives. It was such a fantastic opportunity for them.”
