AN ARRAY of market stalls featuring food and craft from across the world is making its way to the heart of the Tyne Valley.
Popular across the country, the Continental Street Market, operated by RR Events, will pitch up in Hexham Market Place for the first time this weekend.
The market will be held between 10am and 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and at slightly reduced hours between 10am and 4pm on Sunday.
At the market, visitors can expect to find a mix of international-themed traders from around the world.
It will feature a mix of hot food treats, food people will be able to take home, as well as quirky craft items.
The Continental Street Market has a big reputation across the country, and its visit to Hexham will follow events in Brighton, London and Southport this week. Its only other stint in the North-East will be in Sunderland on the following weekend.
