AN investigation has been launched after around 400 litres of heating oil was stolen.
Police said the oil was stolen from a heating oil tank located in a garden off the B6320 Road, near Bellingham.
The incident is thought to have taken place between 3.30am and 7.50am on Saturday, August 17.
Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 101, quoting reference number 255 of the 17/08/19.
