Two men will go on trial accused of affray
TWO men will stand trial after pleading not guilty to a joint charge of affray.
Steven Jon Carter (34), of Lanercost Gardens, Throckley, and Robert Paul Carver (34), of Broomyhill Road, Throckley, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court last Thursday, and both denied the charge.
The alleged offence occurred in the town of Ponteland in July last year.
Carter and Carver were released on unconditional bail and are due to appear at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court in Bedlington on October 29.
