A WARRANT has been issued after a man accused of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent failed to turn up to court.
Wasim Shan (39), of Brighton Grove, Newcastle, was due to appear at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court last Thursday to answer the charge.
The offence relates to an incident in Ponteland on March 30 where Shan was alleged to have unlawfully taken a blue Ford Fiesta.
