Hexham Railway Station.
A LARGE amount of damage was caused at Hexham Railway Station over the weekend.
On Sunday morning, British Transport Police and Northumbria Police received reports of criminal damage to windows in the station and to a vehicle parked in the station’s car park.
It was reported that a number of windows had been smashed at the premises and that further damaged had been caused to the platforms.
British Transport Police are asking for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch by texting 61016 or calling (0800) 405040, quoting reference 162 of 11/08/19.
