A WOMAN was rescued after a fall in Blanchland on Saturday.
Volunteers from Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team joined Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team and the North East Ambulance Service at around 12.30pm to assist the injured female.
The woman, who had been out walking, was found about a quarter of a mile downstream of Blanchland.
The rescue involved nine mountain rescue team members and lasted an hour.
