THE Slaley Show, due to be held on Saturday, has been cancelled.
Show organisers announced the decision on Wednesday morning due to the waterlogged conditions at the showfield and heavy rain forecast for the weekend.
Show secretary Fiona Pattinson said: "We have made the decision to look out for the public and everyone attending the show with animals or as a trader."
"We have had the brunt of the recent bad weather and the forecast gale force winds mean that it's only going to get worse."
