POLICE are investigating after would-be thieves attempted to steal a quad bike using a makeshift ramp.
Offenders built the ramp against the back wall of a farm near Allendale to remove the bike. No entry was gained and the bike was not stolen. The attempt is believed to have taken place overnight on July 25 to 26.
