South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court.
A WOMAN has pleaded not guilty to assault.
Angela Simpson (46), of Greenwich Gardens, appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court on Thursday and denied a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
It was alleged Simpson assaulted Mary Carr on Hexham's Fore Street on February 23.
Her case will be heard at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on October 3. She was granted unconditional bail.
