POLICE are appealing for information after an attempted burglary in Otterburn.
Officers received a report on Monday of an incident at the Border Reiver shop in the village.
A Northumbria Police spokesman, said: “At some point between 8pm on Sunday and 6am on Monday, offenders tried to gain entry to the shop.
“Nothing is believed to have been taken, but an investigation is ongoing into the incident.”
