A PROMINENT estate agent has made a key appointment at its main base.

Edward Seymour, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the property industry, has become the new branch manager at Foster Maddison, on Priestpopple, in Hexham.

During his career in property, Mr Seymour has worked for several notable companies in the residential property market, starting in London before heading north to work in Newcastle, Scotland and the Borders.

He said: “I’m looking forward to getting grips with the market here, and the Tyne Valley is a beautiful part of the world to be based.

“Foster Maddison, in my mind, is a brand I have long known and respected as a good brand, and I’m looking forward to help building on that.

I have 25 years of experience in the estate agents industry working with a diverse range of properties across everywhere, so I definitely have a lot of experience in the industry.”
