Steam locomotive enthusiasts will line the Tyne Valley rail line to catch a glimpse of the iconic 60163 Tornado.
The train will tour the country on Saturday (July 20) starting from London King Cross.
It us due to depart Carlisle at 3.23pm, and then head for Newcastle passing through Hexham at around 6.09pm and Blaydon at 6.34pm before hitting Newcastle at approximately 6.52pm.
On the Carlisle to Newcastle line, the Tornado will pass through the communities of Haltwhistle, Haydon Bridge, Hexham, Riding Mill, Stocksfield and Prudhoe.
