A MAN will stand trial at Newcastle Crown Court after pleading not guilty to the burglary of a village shop.
Gary Hosie (36), of Merton Road, Newcastle, was due to attend South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court on Friday after previously denying a charge of burglary of the Co-op in Wylam on April 23.
He failed to attend Friday's court hearing, and he was arrested over the weekend. He appeared before magistrates on Monday morning and was released on bail.
He is due to appear at Newcastle Crown Court on August 12.
