Resurfacing work will be carried out.
A SECTION of the A68 will be closed for six days next week due to resurfacing work.
Northumberland County Council has announced a stretch of just under a mile-and-a-half of the popular road between Little Whittington and nearby Beukley from Monday, July 8 onwards.
The road will be fully closed in both directions and will disrupt motorists most around the Stagshaw roundabout just outside of the Errington Coffee House.
There will be signs in place to divert traffic.
