THE A69 was closed eastbound this morning following a crash involving a motorbike.
A diverson was put in place while emergency services attend the scene. It is thought that the female motorcyclist did not suffered any serious injuries.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said: "Shortly after 10.50am today, police received a report of a collision on the A69 near the Haydon Bridge turn off.
"It was reported that a female motorcyclist had come off her bike and sustained what is believed to be minor injuries.
"The A69 eastbound was closed to accommodate paramedics and recovery of the motorcycle."
The road reopened at 12.02pm
