Chris Ridley-Smith, Peter Winter and Lucy Winter will cycle 150 miles in memory of businessman Ashley Winter.
THE daughter of a well-known businessman will push through the pain barrier in his memory.
Lucy Winter and her cousins Pete Winter and Chris Ridley-Smith will cycle 150 miles from Seascale to Whitby on Saturday in memory of her father Ashley Winter, who died of pancreatic cancer last year.
In addition to spending almost 30 years at the helm of car dealer RH Patterson & Co Ltd, Ashley was known for his charitable work across Tynedale.
In his memory, the trio will tackle the cycle ride to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK and St Oswald’s Hospice, which cared for Ashley during his illness.
The group have already raised more than £3,000.
