Hexham planning firm Hedley Planning Services has boosted its operations with the appointment of an assistant planner for its new Teesside and Yorkshire office.

The move will see Hannah Chapman working alongside director Stephen Litherland on growing the Wynyard-based operation, new business development and providing strategic planning support for residential and commercial clients across the region.

A graduate of Newcastle University, she will work closely with the senior management team as they oversee expansion and demand across Teesside and Yorkshire, particularly around the company’s strategic land promotion expertise.

Hannah, who will also continue to support Hexham-based clients, brings extensive experience and expertise to the role.

She has been involved in planning applications for residential developments in Wynyard and securing approval for a 450,000 sq. ft industrial estate at Urlay Nook Road, Eaglescliffe.

New work and clients are driving growth for Hedley Planning Services with the firm, which has offices on Burn Lane in Hexham, currently employing six planning experts with support staff.
